Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for choosing Ocean Carving Lab. We take great pride in our artisanal shell carvings. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. Return Period

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with original tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

3. Return Process

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

4. Natural Variation Disclaimer

Our products are handcrafted from natural shells. Each piece possesses unique lusters, textures, and slight color variations. These natural characteristics are not considered defects but are hallmarks of an authentic, organic art piece.

5. Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damaged product and the exterior packaging so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

6. Shipping Costs

Non-Quality Returns: For returns due to personal preference, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Please note that the original shipping fee is non-refundable.

Quality Issues: We will cover all shipping costs for confirmed defective or damaged items.

Recommendation: For items over $75, we highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

7. Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned:

Customized products (such as personalized carvings or special orders).

Sale items or gift cards.

 

8. European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.

9. Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too
